Liquid Lips

Singing is used as a tool to liquify language and melt words. Reverbs, delays, bass, granular sounds, silences, whispers, vocal cracks, gargles, and dramatic melodies characterize this sound work, that uses the voice as the main instrument. For this installation I worked with the acoustics and spacialization of the sounds placing them around, above and beneath the listener’s ear. Led by our ears, we are encouraged to explore the space with sounds as sculptures in the space.
